Have you ever wondered why nobody makes good hat patterns?? Hats are one of the easiest things to sew; sunhats, non-lumpy bucket hats, and cadet caps should be part of every sewing pattern line, don't you think? Instead, you get stuck with "vintage" hats like
these and bucket hats that look like
this or
this.
These might be good to wear. If you were going to a play in which you were Katherine Hepburn( no offense Katherine, I love your movies!) But none look like
this or
this. I guess you could try and make your own, at the risk of ending up giving it to your toddler niece, because it won't fit your big head!:) It has now become a quest; to find the perfect fabric hat pattern!! Unless one of you readers has figured out the formula for making the perfect hat..... Anyone??:)
