Purple People Eater #2

This was made from a men's shirt from Teresa (thanks!:) She gave me some shirts and a skirt, and this is what I’ve made from them so far. (I have an idea for the skirt, but no lining fabric:() When I dyed this sweater, I didn’t want to waste the dye, even though the box said it was only good for one use. So I just put the shirt in the dye and let it sit there for half a day. After I washed it, it came out looking a little faded in some parts. But I just said it was “vintage.”    

The top of course, you’ve seen before. The pants I made from the shirt arms. I think they’re really cute. I remembered how to make them from a tutorial I had seen awhile back, but I don’t know where that is now.

School has started, and I haven't touched the sewing machine in 4 days!! I think I"m going through withdrawals!!
I made these pants almost two weeks ago, but forgot to post them. So here they are! I made them out of a shirt, in a way that I would get to keep the logo. I think I like how they turned out! Except for the fact that I accidentally put a hole in them... but you can't see that!:) Sorry, the pictures don't show them too well.
On another note, school has been quite the transition! I went from a class of three to a class of twenty! And the cafeteria is to be avoided!:) As I looked around, all the movies I've seen about high school kids and college kids were playing through my mind...:):) You probably think I"ve been living in the dark ages...oh well. Hopefully my schedule will settle down and I can get back to my sewing machine!
