This was a badly stained and too short shirt. My sister couldn’t wear it anymore, but the detail on the neckline and the color was too nice to throw away. (Also known as my excuses to not throw it away; I can come up with a lot really fast. If you’re going to throw something away, you might want to do it at night;))
So, I cut off the bottom part, then realized it was too short. So I sewed a strip back on; I used some fabric from a skirt I had made awhile ago for the bottom part. Then I cut off the hem of the shirt for the ties. Quite easy; and the bottom was already hemmed! Always a bonus!
Also, I received my package from Renanda Pennington by way of the My Mama Made It Gift Exchange. I couldn’t believe how much stuff she had put in one package!(forgot to take a picture of all of it). I received some awesome fabric and trims, and she even sent me a sewing pattern and thread!! Very cool! Thanks so much Renanda!!!
