Suggestions
No project pictures today! But, I promise there will be one soon!:) I have a question to ask of all the fashionable bloggers out there: what fashion magazines would you recommend?? I am looking to subscribe to one or two, but don't know which ones; Elle, Glamour, Vogue, Teen Vogue, etc. (I already subscribe to Lucky). I'm also a cheapskate, so a one-year 40 dollar subscription is a bit much!:) Any suggestions???

I find recently that the magazines disappoint me. I look at most stuff online and then buy the big semi-annual issues in one big splurge. However, I'm hardly the expert, as I'm primarily a re-fashioner and usually only look at mags to find things I might want to rip-off :)
ReplyDeleteAmazon has great deals on subscriptions. I catch them when they are 5-10 bucks. I am getting Glamour & Vouge now.

I love InStyle magazine because, like Lucky, it focuses on fashion and less on culture/celebs/relationships. Every so often you can get discounted subscriptions through Amazon.com I saw one year InStyle for less than $10 over the holidays.
ReplyDeleteI get Elle and Vogue. I loved W but let my subscription run out a few months ago to see if I could live without it. You might head to the best local bookstore, browse some mags, and then check online to see if there are good deals for subscriptions.
ReplyDeleteElle is my favorite, but Glamour is great for shallow, glossy-mag, semi-trashy, confidence-boosting-ness. So I'd recommend those two!

ELLE is my absolute FAVORITE magazine, but Teen Vogue is fabulous, as well. I'd recommend subscribing to the both of them!! :)
