I am finally free! My first semester at BGSU is finally over, and it felt like the longest and hardest semester I have ever had! BUT, enough of that. It’s Christmas break time, which meansssssss…….. time for sewing! (and doing whatever I want). So, to kick it off, here is some of what I made for Christmas presents. I wasn’t able to get pictures of everything, but you didn’t miss much:)
I made a guitar strap out of this fabric. I did not get a pic of the finished product, but it turned out pretty cool (if I do say so myself).
A bunch of zippered pouches. These make the perfect last minute gift (not that any of us procrastinate:)
Skirt made with striped fabric:
Elmo skirt:
Some flowered skirts:
A little helmet hat with a big flower on the side:
This blanket was definitely the biggest project. It’s a fringe/knot blanket. All the polka dots are appliqued, as is the ‘A’.
So that’s that…… we will now return to regular programming. For at least a few weeks anyway ;)
Wow, you were busy! Did you make all of the gifts you gave away this year?
ReplyDeleteCan I just say that I LOVE the little pig pouch? I WANT!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing your first semester! :)
